Race Across Norfolk 2026

In the spirit of Race Across the World, Norwich Blackfriars Rotary Club is seeking out adventurers to take on the Race Across Norfolk! This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity invites 12 teams (as pairs) to race across our beautiful countryside and local towns, by going back to basics- no internet, no social media and only a very limited budget!

Just like in the show, it’s all about resilience, teamwork, and navigating unexpected twists as you work your way through Norfolk to race to the finish line.

As in Race Across the World, teams will navigate from checkpoint to checkpoint, overcoming challenges and solving clues. With just a basic budget and the ability to make quick decisions, each pair will have to race to the finish line.

Founded in 2024 by Colin Lang MBE, Thrive Autism is a charity (registration pending) based in Norwich, Norfolk designed to support young neurodivergent individuals between the ages of 0 to 25, along with their family and caregivers.

Our mission is to establish a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive Autism Centre in Norfolk. This centre will feature a range of state-of-the-art facilities tailored to the needs of neurodiverse children and their families. These include a soft-play area, café, projection room, sensory room with cutting-edge equipment, therapy rooms, music therapy spaces, training rooms, an outdoor play area, sensory garden, and a birthday party room to name a few.

At Thrive Autism, we are deeply committed to creating a welcoming environment where young people can play, connect, and build friendships free from judgment or fear. We also strive to foster a supportive community where families and caregivers can share experiences, offer mutual guidance, and find a sense of belonging.
